Hello Everyone, I live in Canada and seriously considering buying a Smooth Top Range - Cooktop Material: Glass (I believe would be the same as the US Ceramic Cook Tops ?) Anyways, after reading all of your postings about pans and burn marks I don't know if it would be a good idea (but everyone is buying them!) I'm wondering if anyone has any opinion regarding the different colors of glass on the Cooktop - would like white (with white stove) to match other appliances, but the majority of the cooktops are black - I don't know which one (black or white) would be better for the stains and keeping clean. Help !! |

Smooth Top Range - Black or White Glass ?? Hello Everyone, I'm from Canada and seriously considering buying a white stove with glass cooktop (I believe the glass cooktops here would be equal to the ceramic cooktops in the US) Anyways, I'm not sure if I should reconsider after reading all of your postings concerning the burn marks and difficulty cleaning them (thank you for posting your concerns!) I would like to buy a stove with a WHITE glass cooktop, but the majority of stoves up here seem to be BLACK glass. I'm wondering if anyone is having the same concerns with either of these. I'd love to hear from you if you have WHITE or BLACK cooktops. |

I have seen a few smooth tops that are grey or a speckled black and white. |
