2 Pasta Dishes for 100 People

I am cooking 2 pasta dishes for 100 people - 30 children and 70 adults. I plan to do baked ziti and chicken alfredo as well as Caesar salad and garlic bread.

Any help with the amount to buy would be wonderful!

Depends on the age of the children, but if you start with 20 pounds dry pasta you will have plenty. I figure 1 quart sauce, 1/2 to 1 pound cheese and 1/2 to 1 pound meat or meatballs per pound of pasta.

The split depends on your crowd's preference, usually tends red.

There is a good recipe for Alfredo style sauce that holds on my spaghetti page.
