I am having a Sweetheart Banquet for 35 Couples 70 ppl) at church. My menu is as follows..PLEASE I NEED INPUT, please tellme what you think. The youth group is doing the serving. Yikes ! Cescar Salad Grapefruit Sorbet garnished w/fresh mint sprig Roasted pork Tenderloin w/ portabella mushroom suace Bak'd Potaotes ( s. cream /chives/ butter) Green beans almondine (whole beans) Rolls and Butter Chocolate Fondue Fountain

Melissa, you can use the quantities for 100 page to cover most of these items, plan on 3/4 of the amount for 100. Dips for the chocolate, large pretzel rods, marshmallows, pound cake cubes, and whole strawberries. Banan chunks are tasty, but they turn brown. If you are having a cocktail period before the meal, the small plates are a great idea. If it is come in and sit down, salad is fine. Prepare a half dozen or so whole portobella caps stuffed with a vegetarian sauce, for the people who don't eat meat or pork. 1.2 cup (small scoop) sorbet. 4 persons per pound fresh green beans. |

Sounds very nice. I might add a garnish of hot fried apples or spiced red crab apples or spiced peach halves to the plate... |
