Hi I'm cooking first time for larger crowd, 50ppl. My menu plan is: Spaghetti (not sure if I should bake it?), ceasar salad, pasta & potato salads, some of my homemade frybread sticks, jello & bananna cream squares for dessert. I'm lost as to how much of everything to buy.. |

Help w/ shopping list plz! 50 people Spaghetti (not sure if I should bake it?), baked is MUCH easier to hold. There are several baked spaghetti recipes in the budget section of the Big Pots page. 8-10 pounds dry pasta, depending on how big eaters they are. caesar salad, use 1/2 the amount for 100 from the plan for 100 list, has dressing also pasta & potato salads, please consider doing only the potato salad, 1 1/2 gallons and do a vegetable for the second dish; either 5 quarts of a cold veg salad such as broccoli cauliflower, or 12 pounds of a roasted veg mix- can be made ahead and served at room temp some of my homemade frybread sticks, 2 sticks per person jello, I make 17 small packages for 100, so do 8-9 banana cream squares either small, 2 per person, or larger 1 per person plus about 10%=55 If it goes well, please make a small donation to support this site.
