I am making a wedding cake and dessert to serve everyone for a friend. I am doing mini strawberries and cream trifles that will be served in clear plastic cups. I am wondering how many recipes of pound cake I will need to make to fill and serve 120 cups. The recipe I am using makes two 8 inch cake pans (then I just cube the cake and layer it in the cups). It would be helpful if you could suggest how many strawberries to get, too. |

Laura how many cups does your recipe make? I usually plan on 8 servings per standard loaf cake, but you will easily get 10 when cubing into cups. 1 quart of strawberries makes 8-10 shortcakes.
