I turned the wrong burner on that had an enameled teapot on it, by the time I realized what I had done the it was to late the teapot was empty and sticking to the burner. I quickly removed the teapot however part of the enamel stuck to the burner. When the burner cooled I tried to clean the enamel off however it left a nice size pit mark. Is the burner still usable or have I ruined this burner? Please can someone let me know. Thanks

As long as it has not pitted through the top, you can use it till it cracks, which it will, sooner or later. It is possible to replace just the glass top. On some tops, this can be a do-it-yourself project, but many require a pro.
