My brother in law left the tea kettle on the glass cook top and forgot all about it. Discovered it when he returned home, he shut the stove off and then couldn't remove the tea kettle off of it. It got stuck on it. After awhile he pried it off but a layer of the ceramic part of the tea kettle stayed attached to the glass stove top. Is there a way for it to be removed? Please help! Nancy |

No, The tea kettle coating is ceramic and the heat was sufficient to fuse it permanently to the ceramic top, as if a kiln. The glass top can be replaced. Some brands this can be done by a handy home owner, some it is a pro job. $200-600 |
