When making tea sandwiches in advance, I read on your site to cover with wax paper then damp towels and also to cover with just damp towels. Which approach should I choose?

I will have 300+ whole sandwiches I will store in fridge for less than 24 hours before cutting and serving serving. The fillings are egg, tuna and chicken.

Be SURE you do mayo to the edges before filling with these moist fillings. For overnight, use the wax paper first; the straight towel might be a little too moist

Thank you, so to re-cap: BUTTER to the edges. Wax paper on the bottom with lightly dampened towels on top, then covered with saran wrap.

Either butter or mayo to the edge. Wax paper on the top, damp towels over that , saran wrap over all is how I do it. Be sure the seal on the saran wrap is tight all the way round.
