When making tea sandwiches in advance, I read on your site to cover with wax paper then damp towels and also to cover with just damp towels. Which approach should I choose? I will have 300+ whole sandwiches I will store in fridge for less than 24 hours before cutting and serving serving. The fillings are egg, tuna and chicken. |

tea sandwich storage & refrigeration Thank you, so to re-cap: BUTTER to the edges. Wax paper on the bottom with lightly dampened towels on top, then covered with saran wrap. |

tea sandwich storage & refrigeration Either butter or mayo to the edge. Wax paper on the top, damp towels over that , saran wrap over all is how I do it. Be sure the seal on the saran wrap is tight all the way round. |
