Hi, I am trying to figure out how much bread cubes i will need to make stuffing for 100. If i just multiply 6 oz. by say 90, I come up with 17 quarts of bread. This seems like a lot of bread...and compared to the store bought boxes ...it just doesn't add up. Does anyone have any practical advice? |

A typical serving is 2/3 cup, of which about 1/2 cup is bread, the rest onions, celery, etc. I figure 5 servings per 4 people for self serve, or about 12 servings= 60 cups bread=15 quarts. So you are a bit over, but not much... Remember that the store boxes are dry weight not volume, and also they figure small servings. |
