Thanksgiving for 50 foreign students

11/15/15 		Hi Helen. Hope all is going well with you and the family. Just want to check my figures please:

3 20 pound turkeys
2 recipes of your freezable mashed potatoes
1/2 of Southern Baked Dressing recipe (100 person)
2 #10 cans green beans made into green bean cass
100 rolls plus butter pats
20 cups gravy
10 pounds cranberry relish
8 pies
How does this sound?

11/15/15 		You are doing great. 3 16 pound turkeys would be plenty, they are easier to handle, the meat is better and two will fit in most standard ovens.

Yes roaster ovens excel at turkeys, just be aware they stay very moist but don't brown. One roaster needs 1 standard household electric circuit, so if you have 3, you need 3.

11/16/15 		Thanks so much Ellen for the feedback. Can I use roaster ovens to cook the green bean casserole in as well as the stuffing and potatoes?

11/16/15 		Yes. Be careful, I am not kidding about blowing all the circuits if you put more than 1 roaster on a circuit.
