Hi Ellen! My wedding is for approximately 120 people. 80 adults and 40 children under 12. We're thinking of going with BBQ. I'd like to know if this sounds about right to you. All quantities are of cooked foods.

Mains
30 lb smoked brisket
20 lb pulled pork
5 whole roast chickens

Sides
20 qt BBQ beans
20 qt coleslaw
4 pans green chile mac n cheese
3 pans cornbread
72 rolls

Dessert
120 individual pies

Drinks
1 keg beer
3 gal lemonade
3 gal iced tea
48 8 oz bottles of soda

Thanks so much for all that you do to help everyone get their parties situated!

Add about 10 more pounds beef or 4-5 more chickens.
Ad gallon pickles, 8 pounds thin sliced onions, 1 squirter table sauce per table

Sides
20 qt BBQ beans- 4 gallons OK
20 qt coleslaw-3 1/2 gallons OK
4 pans green chile mac n cheese- assuming this is full size pans? Add at least 2 plain- you have a lot of kids
3 pans cornbread- size? aim for 100+ pieces
72 rolls- 120

Dessert
120 individual pies-OK

Drinks
1 keg beer -only enough for 40 people. You may want to add a pony of a second flavor
3 gal lemonade-OK
3 gal iced tea- do 4/5, 2 unsweetened
48 8 oz bottles of soda- odd amount- at least 80, have some sugar free

Wise to plan an appetizer table. At least chips and dip, 8-10 pounds plus 1 pint salsa or dip per pound; fruit tray (see the fruit tray page) this will also be dessert for non-pie eaters; maybe cheese selection- 8-10 pounds with 6 pounds crackers
