Reheating rice

Hi Ellen. Hope you and yours are doing well. Doing function at church for 80 people (just a taste really to go along with topic). Making Mediterranean Rice and bite size Shawarma chicken. How long and at what temp. do I reheat the rice? It is a full steam table size container. Giving each person 1/4 cup rice and 2 oz chicken. Thanks for your help once again.

You need 20+ quarts or 5+ quarts rice if you are careful with servings. Best would be to use a rice cooker or large crock pot so it would be hot and fresh- is this possible?

Already made the rice and the chicken. I cooked 10 cups of rice which made 30 cups of rice plus all the veggies and spices. It is enough for each person to have 1/4 cup rice. Thanks Ellen and have a great Sunday.

Place the rice into an oven-proof baking dish (your steam pan will work) and sprinkle with a little bit of water. If desired, a few knobs of butter or a drizzle of olive oil can be added to prevent sticking and add flavor. Cover with a tight-fitting lid (or seal tightly with aluminum foil) and bake for about 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 300° F (or 150º C).
