Hi
I am planning son's high school graduation party. We are on a budget BUT our number of invites is 300- adults and lots of children included.

Which is more cost effective and easy- Pulled Pork and sides OR Taco bar? What would you serve with pulled pork and how much of everything?
I am overwhelmed - any help would be great!
Thanks

Taco bar much better choice, less expensive because it uses less meat, especially if you put out the rice and beans. And for a high school group, I would definitely kick in the nacho option, using large crock pots to present the queso.

There is a really extensive help sheet on taco bars on this site:

You will also want the beverage planning page:

and maybe for part of the day, the ice cream sundae page:

You can write back. I am doing a fundraising campaign to remodel the kitchen and provide the changes you readers have asked for- please click the masthead at the top of this page to go to www.ellensbigpots.com and make a donation. Every little bit helps. Thank you.
