My school wants me to cater a business dinner but i don't know how much to charge for delivery, serving, setup and etc........ Is there a website where i can get this information. |

No. But there are quite a few caterers with websites that show prices. I listed several in my article on catering your own wedding/ food event in the Big Pots section. Prices depend on number of people, type of menu, who supplies servers, cleanup and setup, china versus paper plates, and even region of the country. The general rule of thumb is, the cost of the food is 1/4 the cost of the meal. If you have never catered, you should know there are LOTS of very strict regulations about preparation of food for sale, especially if you prepare the food off-site and bring it in. You need written contracts and LOTS more info before you bid this meal. |
