How many pounds of ham would I need for 400? Having corn, green beans and mashed potatoes. Thank, Marsha |

Marsha, for a wedding reception, you would plan a more elaborate meal; remember that with gift, travel, outfits, etc, people are spending 200-700 to attend- so you will have appetizers and add a salad and breads to the dinner, as well as beverages and dessert. In addition, with 400 guests, you have to plan for the guests (up to 100) who don't eat pork or ham. It takes 50 pounds of boneless meats to make buffet party size portions for 100 people. You can write back. |

OK. 180 pounds. Plus 40 servings of a vegetarian entree option. |
