Hello Ellen, I am planning the dinner for 200 for my sister's wedding and your site has been so helpful! It's a dinner starting around 6 pm. This is what I have figured out for amounts to prepare - could you please let me know if I am on the right track?
Chicken - 90 lbs (will be cut into pieces in a pretty substantial cream and mushroom sauce)
And for appetizers:
Drinks: We will also have cake and possibly ice cream. I think this is too much food, because if I should plan for 1.5 lbs per person, I end up with about 70 lbs too much (and this isn't even counting the sauce for the chicken or the other ingredients in the potatoes or the cake). So what should I trim down? Thank you so much! |
