Kali, it depends completely on how many pots you will do at once, versus cooking in batches. Fish fry for tailgate is a little risky. At least consider doing potato salad instead of French Fries, safer, and more convenient to prepare and serve. Every serving of fish will use up about 3 tablespoons of oil from what you started with.
