Im helping my local 4-H cook for an award banquet. We are doing pulled pork and pulled chicken for 175 people. Mostly teens and their parents. I have the sides figured out but not sure how much meat we need. Its going to be a buffet and I know people will take some of each meat. We are serving baked beans, cheesy has browns, corn, and dinner rolls with for the meal.If you could help me out with the meat quantities I would really appreciate it. thank you |

70 pounds raw boneless is plenty and for most groups, a 40/30 split is about right. Do have one crock pot of vegetarian sausages or patties for the non-meat eaters n the crowd- there will be some. |

Remember the sliced onions and sliced dill pickles- |

So your saying 40 pounds of raw pork butts and 30 pounds of raw boneless chicken right? We will have something for the none meat eaters in the group. |

Yes, good. Each pound of ready to eat pulled meat makes 5 regular sandwiches or 12+ sliders. |

So I thought I had my sides figuered out but now im not sure. We are expecting 175 people. Im thinking I need two slider buns per person. 8 #10 cans of corn 6 # 10 cans of beans for baked beans I found a recipe for the cheesy hash browns that feeds 100 people so Im good with those. 10 gallons of ice tea. If you could please tell me if I good I would appreciate it so much. Thank you. |

If tea is the only beverage, go for 12 gallons. The veggies are OK |
