Cooking sirloin beef tips and gravy over buttered noodles for 80. How much meat should I buy? Will cook on 18 quart roasters. How long should i cook it? How much noodles? There will be a side of vegetable too. |

If the tips are in gravy, esp w mushrooms and onion added, 20-22 pounds trimmed raw. Otherwise, or teens, bump up to 26-28 pounds. Each roaster holds only 20 pounds, and an electric roaster needs one circuit, so check your electrical situation. Keeping this much pasta good is tricky, esp in roasters, please also read the spaghetti page. Remember it takes 20 minutes to heat a gallon of water to boiling. |
