I need to cook for 55 people . I need to cook baked mac and cheese ,ham and roast pork. How many pans for mac and cheese. How many hams and roast pork .thank you |

Assuming not teens or football players, about 7 pounds dry pasta, 1 quart sauce per pound. 1/2 to 1 pound cheese per pound. You want to end up with 30 pounds of ready to serve meat, because people take more when there are two choices. Also, not knowing your region, can't suggest the split. 4 pounds raw boneless pork, makes about 3 pounds cooked. Ham barely shrinks. Unless you are VERY sure everyone eats pork, consider doing chicken as one of the meats. You can write back if you tweak the menu. |
