Can you saute onion, garlic,celery with butter and add tomatoes,tomato paste to create sauce and freeze ahead to use in recipe for chicken stew a few weeks later? |

Everything but he garlic, which does not take well to freezing. When you thaw it, add crushed garlic which has maybe been sauteed with/after the chicken? Only takes a few minutes. |
