Appetizers for 150

Hi Ellen. Hope your year is going well.
I have been asked to make appetizers for 150 adults for a Christian school fundraiser in March. While people are looking at the donated items up for auction they will be circulating around the room where I will have bistro tables set up with appetizers. The function is at 6:00 pm and no alcohol is being served.
This is what I am thinking: 12 per person? for a 6:00 pm function?

Pulled pork sliders topped with a pickle slice 225 count
Turkey and cranberry roll ups 225 count
Meatballs in a sauce (not sure what type yet) 300 count
Bruschetta with two toppings, 450 pcs
Devilled ham on toast points with a Siracha Peach drizzle 225 pc
Cheese table with tortas, cheese logs, dips, fruit and crackers
Devilled eggs 400 1/2 pcs and chili and artichoke bites 225 pcs.

That makes around 1600 bites plus the cheese table. If they want sweets then the committee will do it themselves.

I have plenty of time to get this done. Will wait and purchase turkey, ham and pork butt at Christmas time when they go on sale. Will this be enough food?

Thank you so much for your help the past six years in all of my functions.!!

I am sorry a family medical emergency hit me over the last 10 days. All OK now, bu a lot got postponed...

The complication here is that most people will NOT eat dinner before they arrive, so they will eat more than you hoped or expected. Because of this, I suggest you add a really interesting fancy pasta salad- tricolor rotini, bow tie- about 5 gallons

And maybe 3 gallons of marinated antipasto veg?

Pulled pork sliders topped with a pickle slice 225 count
Turkey and cranberry roll ups 225 count- might go 300
Devilled ham on toast points with a Siracha Peach drizzle 225 pc
chili and artichoke bites 225 pcs.

Meatballs in a sauce (not sure what type yet) 300 count
10-12 pound per 100, 3 quarts sauce per 100

Bruschetta with two toppings, 450 pcs

Cheese table with tortas, cheese logs, dips, about 16 pounds all together
fruit, 25 pounds edible weight
crackers, 9-10 pounds

Deviled eggs 400 1/2 pcs, yep, people love these!

Ellen so sorry to hear about the family emergency. It seems the older we get the more often they happen. I hope that you and yours have a blessed holiday season and that the new year is both healthy and happy for all of you. Thank you so much for all of your help and support these many years.

Ellen I have made some changes due to what I am having donated for the function: please check my numbers. It is at 5:00 PM, no alcohol being served and about 150 guest as of right now. As always, thank you for your help!!!

Pulled pork sliders topped with a pickle on top (300)
Turkey and cranberry roll ups topped with an olive on top(300)
Meatballs in a zesty sauce (chili sauce, BBQsauce) (450)
Bruschetta (two types of olives and tomatoes) (300)
Shrimp crustini with a Siracha Peach drizzle (300)
Loaded mashed potatoes served in champagne glass (225)
Sausage and chicken Jambalaya 4 oz. (225)
Devilled eggs (400)

Cheese table:
(3) 9" cheese tortas (one with Chutney, one with blue cheese and the third one with a med flair)
Chili con queso and salsa with tortilla chips
Mushroom terrine with crackers
Hummus with pita triangles
Dips-corn and an artichoke
Ham and pineapple cheese ball, Buffalo turkey ball
Deviled ham spread
Cheese straws and mini garlic and cheese biscuits

That makes around 2000 bites plus the cheese table. Drinks and dessert will be taken care of by the committee.

Wow, yummy and plenty. You could eliminate 2 items in each area and still have enough.
