How much shrimp would I need to serve 20 people shrimp scampi with pasta . Also serving garlic bread & green salad. All adults. My local grocery store has 21-25 shrimp on sale for $5.99 until 11-21.Should I buy it now or hope it's on sale closer to Christmas? It comes frozen,I've had it before, very good shrimp. |

These very large shrimp, if you wan to use them, plan for 6-8 shrimp per person. You might consider adding an interesting roasted veg (squashes, onions, carrots,mushrooms etc), about 5 pounds ready to cook, or broiled tomato halves. Very pretty, easy, and fill out the plate. I always like to have 4 items for a party plate. |
