Hi, I am planning a wedding reception for 125. This is just a casual, simple after wedding reception at 5:00 pm. The menu includes: Chicken salad Mini-croissants Mini-roll sandwiches, Ham, turkey and roast beef spinach dip with pita chips & crackers veggie trays with dip fruit trays with dip possible grape and chunk cheese tray wedding cake, wedding cookies and chocolate grooms cake. Will make the mini sandwiches and croissants ourselves. Will be purchasing pre-made veggie and fruit trays. Can you please help with amounts needed. Will buy large fruit trays and veggie trays from publix, website states feeds 28. But with all the other food, it seems like that's underestimating. Help Please! |

OK. The thing about a 5 pm wedding is that people will be HUNGRY after.
I would definitely add some meatless roll-ups- cream cheese and something-
Chicken salad Mini-croissants spinach dip with pita chips & crackers, about 1 1/2 gallons dip, 6 pounds crackers, some gluten free (labeled)
veggie trays with dip-
I would also add one carb side dish- pasta, rice, or potato salad wedding cake, wedding cookies and chocolate grooms cake. Get small cookies, 2 per person. Consult your baker on cake servings. |

Least expensive cake option is a smaller wedding cake with "kitchen cakes", sheet cakes in the same flavor, for guests. The persons overseeing he food will not be able to attend the wedding. About 3 kitchen folk and 4-6 out front to set up, serve, and clean up the party. You can write back. If this is a paid gig or I have saved you time, trouble or money, please make a donation to support the site. Thank you. |
