i am hosting a children's party for 50 including parents. I want to make mini hamburgers, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs and wings for protein. How much of each should I make? |

That’s too much protein ie, too many options. I would cut the wings, they don’t hold well and will dry out. You want to do one hotdog per child and 8 ounces of protein per adult male, 6 oz at most for women. You probably only need to make about 30 to 35 mini hamburgers at the most. Buy 2 large pork butts and that’s plenty, once you shred it it goes a lonnng way. But pulled pork you can go over a bit because what you don’t use you can save for next night’s supper. Don’t forget the sauce! |
