2 to 3 ounces of cheese per person or about 10 pounds, 5 to 6 ounces TOTAL of meats per person thin-sliced, or about 20 pounds. You can calculate the mix based on your budget. |

I am having a luncheon for 30 people (including 5 kids) I am having a seafood salad, chicken salad and a lunchmeat tray. How much lunchmeat and cheese do I need, and what types are best? |

About 1 gallon of each salad and a tray with 2-3 ounces of meat and 2 ounces of cheese per person. Probably jack and cheddar for the cheeses, and deli-sliced ham, honey-roast turkey, and maybe some salami or roast beef for the meats. Condiments, bread etc are covered on the sandwich event pages, use 1/3 of the amount for 100 and you will have plenty. |
