Egg white is a pretty mediocre protein.- very incomplete for human need. Whole egg or even egg yolk is much better.

Dairy products and tree nuts both contain good proteins as do seeds (sunflower, sesame, etc.). Grains also contain some. It sounds like you need to learn more about foods and/or get some knowledgeable advice before you try to select your diet. Have you read vegweb.com or vegsource.com?

Eggwhite has almost no vitamins and actually depletes certain B vitamins. Learn more. Don't starve yourself.

hello:

I have a graduation party this Saturday, I have been working on the food cooking and freezing, but am now down to the last few days and wondering how much i actually need, we are having tacos and taco salads using tostido chips, for 200 people how many pounds of ground beef do I need to cook up, I have approximately 12 lbs already completed. I also am looking for advice on how much lettuce, cheese and onion to chop up or needed to buy at a whole sale club.

Thank you

Laura

I have posted several recipes for large and small taco parties including the amounts for trimmings, try the TexMex page in big pots for a starter. If you have beans, you might get away with 40 pounds of ground meat - you can mix ground turkey for a leaner, meatier filling- otherwise for 200 people for 2 tacos apiece you will need 50-60 pounds.

You can also use the amounts on the baked potato bar page for guidance, interestingly enough, the toppings for 2 tacos and 1 stuffed baked potato are about the same.
