06/17/06 		Thanks for your threads/help...I said No to persistent salespeople for a ceramic flat top stove. I found my coil convection, but now I want to know your thoughts on the colour black? I'm hesitant: too trendy, too sucking of light, too ??? We're reno'ing our bright kitchen, with light beech cupboards and a counter that looks like matte granite - black and beige pattern. Will a black stove, dishwasher and OTR date itself. Our fridge is white and is staying. Thanks for your thoughts....

I have no idea what you will like- it sounds like the black top will go well with the dark granite. I would look at replacing the fridge after a while to match the cupboards or the stove- or get evrything in stainless steel.
