We are in charge of a Christmas dinner for about 200 adults, teens & children. We are thinking pork loin, but are unsure of what to serve along with it. We will be asking members to prepare the sides. Any help would be great.

I have an article posted about things to consider before planning the dinner- please read this first. The Holiday cooking section in Big Pots will give great guidance on assigning dishes and on quantities and shopping- whether you use pork or another meat, the sides are very much the same. White and sweet potatoes, several veggies, cranberry or other fruit sauce, rolls, special salads, desserts.

turkey is cheaper, more traditional and easier to cook and reheat without drying out. Many people don't eat pork. So unless you know your diners preference runs to pork, consider alternatives.
