Ruby, the top weight usually recommended for this size oven is 18 pounds- MAYBE 20 if it is a broad flat shape, so this is a bit iffy. Did you put him in the roaster and see of you have some clearance all the way around? Do be sure if you do it in the roaster that it is UNSTUFFED- the health reasons are repeated in several of the roaster and turkey threads. |

I need to find a highly recommended at least 18 quart roaster oven that makes a good slow cooker. Can you please tell me how and where I can find one? |
