Ellen, I am cooking rack of lamb for Christmas dinner and am clueless as to how much to get. There will be 5 people one of whom is a small child who eats very little. I have seen them listed as 8 bone, 4 bone, 6 bone, etc. Which and how much should I get? |

This is an expensive meat. The usual adult serving is 3 to 4 bones per person. The kiddo will probably eat one. Try to get all the same size, let sit at room temp for 1 hour before broiling and stand over them as they cook- it is FAST. If you have a thermometer that will go under the broiler, it is a useful assist in not overcooking. |
