I'm having a New Years Eve Party. I'm figuring about 50 people,how much sauerkraut will I need? There is only 2 side dishes that I'm making and I ask that noone bring any thing. |

You don't say what the menu is, but I would allow 1/2 cup per person plus a fudge factor, so I would allow 7-8 quarts. You might consider offering a steamed cabbage alternative for folks that are low-salt. |
