hi elle, i have accepted to prepare dinner for 14 guest on thanksgiving day. i plan to buy the turkey and all the side orders as prepared from a restaurant. but i would like to prepare vegetable fried rice too, but i am not sure how to do that because i am not used to cooking it. can you please help |

Hi. Please check the recipe for practically perfect fried rice on this site; you can find it with the search function, just type in "fried rice". You need to cook the plain rice the day before, don't use instant rice! Turkey is not hard to cook- you might try roasting it yourself, unstuffed, if frozen, you thaw in the fridge for 3-4 days first- Ellen |

Traditionally, 1 pound of whole turkey per person for generous servings and maybe some leftover; so you want 2 turkeys- or how about a turkey and a ham? |
