Electric stoves/ranges

I was considering a smooth top stove but, after reading millions of reviews, I don't think it is such a good idea. Now, for my problem/question:

I hate the electric stoves with different size burners. I've been looking for one with four LARGE burners/coils. Does such a thing exist?

I cannot convert to gas, which is what I'd really like, because I live in rented house and the landlord won't pay for it. He won't pay for the new stove either, but I can take it with me whenever I move out.

Any suggestions?

02/03/07 		Yes, but you will pay a premium price- go to a real high-end appliance store that carries brands like Kitchen-Aid, Suzero, and Wolf.
