Can I keep my Chemex coffee pot warm directly on my ceramic stovetop at low heat?. When I had a regular electric stove, I used one of those coils, but can nolonger find the coil, plus I am not sure if it would be good for the stove. I have checked everywhere for this answer,from chemex to including maytag the mfg of the stove. Is it just not recommended, or will it break like when you put pyrex ovenware on a stovetop. I love my Chemex and would only use it with the little triangle, even on a ceramic top. Too expensive to replace, and I have one of the very old handblown ones... |
