I plan on ordering carnitas, carne asada and chicken asada for my party. I will also be serving tortillas and rice and beans. How much meat should I order of each meat(pounds) for 60 people? |

You want to end up with 7-8 ounces total edible ready to eat meat for each person, so 28-30 pounds. I woud probably order 1/3 of each unless I knew one was a favorite, then I would do 50%, 25% 25%. |

My school is having a teachers party and I am in charge of bringing the brown baked beans. How many cans of beans and the size would I need to purchase for 55 - 60 people? Thanks |

1 #10 can has 12 1/2 cups, just over 3 quarts, this is 25 modest servings. 3 cans would be plenty, or 2 cans if you were going to add lots of onion, ham/bacon, tomatoes, brown sugar, etc. |

Counting 60 people as 2/3 of 100 people, You want 2 sausages per person, weights vary, that is about 7 ounces per person 1/2 cup sauerkraut per person 2 1/2 to 3 gallons potato salad (starts from about 25 ounds of potatoes) 2 gallons of mac salad (starts from about 4 1/2 to 5 pounds dry macaroni) |
