Induction cook tops are the microwave of the future. They work on the very fast movement of metal molecules that create friction (heat). Like a microwave the move water to create heat. In 3 to 5 years the price will come down and most new kitchens will have them. Current price in in the $500 range for one. They are very quick to heat and very little energy is lost in the process, unlike gas or electric. |
