I am throwing my mom a surprise 50th party in June and I am having some serious trouble with the food. There will be around 60 people attending, and I plan on making it a very casual/picnic style meal. I would like to have ham and turkey with all the fixins. i.e. mayo cheese pickles mustard and so on...I have no idea how many pounds of meat to get, or how many buns. I am also making a family recipe for potato salad but Im unsure on how many potatos to use. I was also interested in some kindof pasta salad, probably the kind out of the box-so how many boxes should I use? Veggies, fruit, and chips I think I can figure out. And as far as drinks, I was planning on soda, water, and beer...so how much do I figure on those...any help at all would great. Thanks so much! |

Count 60 people as 2/3 of 100 and use the tables for 100 in the website. There is a whole article on sandwich events with quantity tables including meats, buns and the condiments. There is also a beverage table for your beverages. You want 20-24 pounds of raw potatoes for your salad and about 4 pounds of dry pasta as the base for your salad. |
