Hi. We are hosting a Pamper Night event for the moms in our mother's club--where moms will get facials, manicures, etc. QUESTION: How much food do I get? We said that we will be serving food and drinks. We were thinking of appetizers or finger foods--but HOW MUCH do I get? How many platters? Here is the type of food we were thinking of: Veggies and Dip Fruit platter or fruit salad Pasta Salad Tomatoe/mozarella/basil on toothpicks Assorted cheeses and crackers Lavash
Any more ideas? |

Neda, there is a whole section on planning appetizers, and another on beverages, and another on desserts. Depending on the time, you might want to do a big dessert and coffee bar. If you do appetizers, the amount depends on whether it is over a meal time. Think about it- at the time, do you want to cook if you are going to a 7:00 pm party. If it is over a mealtime you need at least twice as much food, discussed in the planning page. If you stick to the above menu, there are planning sections for fruit trays, veggie trays, recipes for pasta salad. But I would goo for some savory bites such as mini quiches or the spinach squares on this site instead of the pasta salad- |

I usually allow 15 2 liter bottles per 100 pople when they are supplementary to a bar- you want about 4-5 sugar-free total, both cola and lemon lime, the rest at least 1/2 to about 2/3 cola (depends on whether you need to count mixers for the drinks- don't forget 1 tomic water and a couple of club sodas. |
