05/07/07 		i need help my daughter is haveing 175 people at her reception and i need to know how much food we need, we are serving ,green beans, can corn ,mash potatoes and fried chicken could someone help me.

05/08/07 		You don't just need help on amounts- you need a bunch of other help, too, including hiring some outside help for setup, serving and cleanup. 175 is a VERY LARGE number of people to self-cater if you have not done similar events before. Please read my article on self-catering your reception beofre you go any further.

Once you have read that, the amounts for all these items are covered in the plan for 100 tables- you get 1 3/4 times the amount for 100 to serve 175.
