This would be a good site for Ellen's Kitchen to just talk beef from all part of the Cow and how much to prepare for Catering Parties, Buffet etc (_)? Who knows you can also have talking Chicken or Fish as well. |

How many Beef Striploin will I need to serve for dinner guest plate up and how many ounce will I put on plate? 1 six ounce or 2 3 ounce slice for 150 clients (_)? |

You need three slices unless you want complaints. The shrinkage is almost 40%- over 1/3- so you can only count 2 servings per pound. |

Anthony, it is quite difficult to do steaks well for this many people. See the pro sites for ideas. |
