Knowing how much food you need for your meal or event saves you money and helps insure success. After selecting a menu, you can use these tables to prepare your shopping list. Or you can plan your shopping and then select your recipes, or use these quantities to see if the shopping list you already made is about right for the number of people you plan to serve.
IMPORTANT! On these tables, the size for one ordinary serving is listed; a mixed adult group uses about 1.2 servings per person. with more men in the group, you will need about 1-1/2 servings per person, and teenagers and young 20's may eat double! There are also tables for "serving 100" throughout the kitchen site.
