Prep Cooking at Home:
Once a Month Cooking (OAMC)

You don't have to go all the way to once a month cooking to gain the benefits of this approach. Cooking three or four hours once a week can eliminate take out, fast food, missed meals, monotony and broken budgets.

One of the advantages of cooking for large groups from the beginning is that cooking for regular size families or singles seems very uncomplicated. Good habits learned, like prepping all the chopped, sliced and diced vegetables in one convenient effort, simplify family cooking.
