Is it ok to freeze Tomato Basil soup made with heavey cream or 1/2 & 1/2?

It won't be unsafe, but you may not be fully satisfied with the texture when reheated. You might consider freezing it before the dairy is added and adding the dairy when it is reheated after thawing in the refrigerator.
