Sauerkraut & sausage for 50
Laurie

Can someone tell me the portion size I should consider when cooking for 50 people.

I am going to have sausage & sauerkraut, german potato salad (from Gordon foods), cocktail meatballs, fried pierogis for main foods then lots of other snacks. Don't mind if I have too much just don't want to run out!!!

You have a pretty big collection of main type dishes for this size group.
I would allow 2 small pierogies per person or 1 large plus 10% extra; PLUS 1 pound of meatballs for each 5-6 people PLUS 1 pound of sausage for each 5-6 people. Sauerkraut and potato salad are on the plan for 100 tables- use 1/2 the amount for 100.
