cast iron metal quality.

So I am in the market to buying new cast iron. Only thing is...I was given my first set and know nothing about cast iron and want to learn everything to know before making an investment in excellent cooking/health. Anyone have any info? Thanks!

There are websites devoted to cast iron. If you are where there are stores for old things, the cast iron made 30 years ago and more was a higher quality. You would be fortunate to find some.
