Granite Cook wear and glass top stoves
Deborah

I've had a glass top stove for 4 years and have been able to use any type of cook wear with no problems. I purchased a Granite stock pot and when I got home and read the label I noticed it had a "Warning" "Do not use on glass top cook surfaces". What can or will happen if I use it on my glass top?

The burner grows hot enough to fuse the enamel, and thus the pot, to the glass top permanently... {NOT kidding}
