Water in the oven body

I lost my cookbook. I have a Rival 8 qt roaster Oven. Do I put water (how much)under the pan or not? Thank you!!! The one at church we do put it is bigger.

NO NO NO, you do not put water under it and you are not supposed to put it in the large one either. The manufacturers are VERY specific about this. It apparently got started by someone who misunderstood the directions about putting water inside the cook pan, under the rack; not between the two layers.
