party planning
I am planning a party for about 40ppl. I planned on serving meatballs, sausage/peppers, and pulled pork for sandwiches... how many pounds of each meat should I buy? Also how many rolls? I am serving a variety of side dishes as well, please help
Hi, Amy, it is very difficult to estimate 3 entrees for 40 people- usual is 2 for up to 100- you will have some left if you want to make enough that all get their first choice. That said, I would do about 1 pound meatballs per 4 PLUS 1 pound sausage (vegetables extra) per 5 PLUS 1 pound pork per 5. 5 rolls per pound.
