what is the best recipe for mac and cheese to cook the day before and reheat the next day.? also how much ingredients would I need for a 140 people? Thank

Mac and cheese isn't very good reheated.

If you are pressed for time, prep before, but bake day of, allow an extra 30 minutes in the oven because the sauce is cold.

You need about 14 pounds of dry pasta and 1 quart of sauce per pound, plus toppings, if you use them.

There are a LOT of good mac and cheese recipes, depends on the flavor and texture you want. For example, you might want a simpler one for a BBQ meal and a fancier one for roast meat. What else is being served, or what do you have in mind?
